Berkshire Hills is a small co-ed values-based Jewish sleepaway camp located in Copake , NY. Jewish life at Berkshire Hills is built on community and eight core values including integrity, respect, acts of loving kindness and repairing the world, that are instilled in all campers and staff. Berkshire Hills’ program has great traditional camp activities like sports , cooking, art , music, archery , ropes and swimming and their Culinary Specialty Camp will help your child become a master chef.

Camp Poyntelle

Nestled in the Northern Pocono Mountains of Wayne County, PA, Camp Poyntelle has been making children’s summer dreams come true for nearly 70 years. NJY Camps

New Jersey Y Camps is a leader in sleep-away camping with 100 amazing years under their belt. The camps pride themselves on offering age appropriate activities with individual programs for each age group:

  • Nah-Jee-Wah (Grades 1st-6th)
  • Cedar Lake (Grades 7th-9th)
  • Teen Camp (Grades 10th -11th)
  • Round Lake Camp (Inclusion Program, ages 7-17)

Located just 1 ½ hours away from NYC, the camps are nestled on a beautiful 1,250 acres in the Pocono Mountains. Offering extensive programs in the arts, athletics, waterfront, adventure training, and STEM, there are truly endless experiences to be had and the campers get to choose their activities daily! The camps also host Totally Specialty Camps which serve as specialized offerings for those who want to focus more intensely on a sport, science, or art while still enjoying a typical camp experience. To help build its strong sense of community, NJY infuses Judaism into the daily program through their Jewish values, or ROOTS program. Shabbat services also take place weekly with spirited singing and dancing in the outdoor amphitheaters.
